Happy 4th of July!

We all had a blast on the 4th. We headed out early to the Marietta Square and watched the July 4th parade. Noah loved the tons of flags, marching bands and "dancers". There really weren't any dancers, but anyone who was in the parade that added a pep in their step along with the traditional wave was a dancer to Noah. There were a ton of politicans (I have no idea who they are) but to Noah they were Marchers & Dancers & Flag passer outers!

We headed home to much needed relief from the heat to our pool where we grilled and played ALL day. Noah made sure to say "Happy 4th" or "Have a great 4th" to everyone. What a sweet guy! Don't get me wrong we have our moments of not wanting to share and wanting to be a 2 year old in charge...but I certainly wouldn't categorize the two's as terrible by any stretch of the means. Those "terrible" moments come but they are so seldom. I am so grateful and so in love with Noah and the little guy he is. It is truly amazing that he has is own likes, dislikes, personality, sense of humor & sayings!

Another Daddy day!

Last week Noah had a playdate with some of his buddies, their Mommy's and HIS Daddy!
I wasn't there. But knowing Shannon, Nicole, Phillip and the kiddos they had a blast and I am sure few sharing issues (knowing Noah) - that were resolved with a sweet "I'm sorry... will you forgive me"

The Pink Caterpillar

We recently went the the East Cobb Park 5th Birthday Celebration! So much fun! Jumpy Castles, Yummy food, dancing, hula hoop contest, limbo and Choo choo train & the all favorite Balloon Sculptor. Looking at the picture you may think "oh" Noah got a sword or one of those Jethi lightsavers (like most little boys in line before him asked for). Not our Noah he looked right up at the "balloon guy" and asked for a pink caterpillar and that is what he got. He must have walked around with that balloon for days until it had lost so much air and was shriveled to almost nothing. I snuck it out to the trash during nap one day and luckily he never noticed it was gone.
Noah and I had a blast that day with Weston his parents and his sisters!

Unfortunately, when we go back to the park now Noah is confused since the bouncy castle and choo choo are gone, but he still enjoys the playground! It's a great one check it out if you've never been.

I am slacking!

We have had so much going on and yet so many lazy HOT summer days... that I have not been diligent in my blogging! Sorry for you regular readers! I do hope there are some of you out there :)
This week I have noticed that Noah has a real sense of humor. Making jokes and making up pretend silly names for his loved ones and friends. He really know it is funny and laughs hysterically at himself as I am laughing at him.

More seriously and not funny, but hard not to laugh at is Noah awareness of privacy, why and what is necessary for. I have had to bury my face in my hands so he doesn't see me laugh when he asks certain questions. I am starting to understand the importance of modesty and moral innocence more each day!
