Auntie Elana Comes to Visit

This week we were so grateful that Aunt Elana was able to come for a short visit. Today we took Aunt Elana to Noah's favorite playground. Just last week Noah loved crawling through all the tunnels at the playground, today he seemed most interested in the swings and the slides. After dropping Aunt Elana off at the airport, Noah took a much needed nap. Late this afternoon he got a "second wind" and joined his neighborhood buddies for a playdate in the sand. Noah usually shy's away from getting sandy, but today he was kicking around in it from head to toe. It is so interesting to see how his preferences change from day to day along with his awareness and understanding of his little world.

Another Monday

Noah and I spent the day playing, going for a walk and getting ready for Aunt Elana to visit tomorrow. Noah loves to build towers with his blocks and chase his toys around his play area. He lounged in his stroller while mommy got some exericse. We have officially pulled out the much needed sunscreen, today's walk was hot and sunny. Here's pic of Noah on a recent trip to Kangazoom where he marveled at the tower of blocks only to knock it down moments later.

A Day with Daddy

This weekend Noah and Daddy spent the day together, while mommy got together with other moms. Daddy caught the whole day on video, from waking up, playing, eating and even cleanup time. Check out the youtube video link to see some of Daddy day.

Warm Springs

Today Daddy was off from work YEAH! Grandpa joined us and we drove to Warm Springs to tour The Little White House and the Springs. Noah seemed to enjoy himself, especially since today's "field trip wasn't exactly 1 year old "friendly" We learned alot about President Roosevelt.

A Day at the Park

The first week of spring here in Georgia has been beautiful. This Wednesday two of Noah's best buddies Ty and Eli joined him at one of our favorite parks. Even though Noah is the only non-walker of the group he can still keep up at the rock climbing wall. Noah also loves crawling through the tunnels and swinging on the swings.

Noah Turns 1

I have not been the best at updating family and friends this first year of Noah's life, so I have decided to start documenting beginning with his 1st Birthday.
Noah turned 1 on February 23, 2007. We had a house full of family and friends, cake ice cream a huge "cup of dirt" and many other kid friendly treats. Noah's older friends played games, while his younger buddies crawled around playing with his toys.
Mom, Dad, Uncle Ray, Aunt Elana, Grammy, Grandma and Grandpa stayed up well after the guests left and Noah went to bed playing every kind of poker game that Daddy could come up with.
