What else is Noah up to???

It is amazing how quickly Noah is changing and how many new things he is doing. Noah is a few days shy of 17 months. Here are some updates: His walk is now a run complete with swinging arms or sometimes just the one arm (usually the right). Some favorite words are Hi, ballooooooon, Dy Dy (Ty Ty his buddy Tyler) ball, book, car (which he prononces with a strong Boston accent not sure where that came from) choo choo, pop pop (Grandpa Zack), pool, door, CD, and of course Mama and Dada. Some of Noah's favorite things to do are slide down the slide at the playground, swim at the pool (wonder where he got that from), play with cars and throw balls and open and close every door imagineable. One of my favorite things to watch him do is sit on a blanket or cozy area and read his books. Some of his favorites to read are "Where is baby's Button" and "Hop on Pop" and "Barnyard Dance".

Another favorite Noah trademark is that immediately upon being placed in his high chair or when he see's that it is about time to eat, he folds his hands in prayer and ends the blessing with a Aben (Amen). As a mommy my heart felts every time he thanks God with an Aben for what he has been given.

One of the Big Boys

As Noah's summer adventures continue, this one inparticular made mommy a little nervous.
Here's Noah on his 1st trip to an amusement park. He rode the teacups and train (choo choo, as he call it) solo (no mommy). His height approved companions are still little guys themselves, but to Noah they are the Big Boys and he proudly "hangs" with them.

NOAH IS WALKING

Noah took his 1st steps on May 14th the day after Mother's Day. His Grammy Michele and Aunt Jodi and Aunt Elana were all visiting and were VERY encouraging. It was a matter of a few days and Noah went from taking a few steps when the spirit led him to a true Toddler, walking, climbing and on the verge of running.

Noah HITS the Lake

Although I am a bit detailed in posting this I couldn't leave out this awesome getaway. Noah and I joined several moms and their little ones for a few days of R & R on Seneca Lake in South Carolina. Our hosts were an INCREDIBLE blessing and all the kids and moms had a blast.
This pic is Noah and his buddy Ty on Noah's very 1st boat ride. What fun!

View from Grammy's new Mountain Home

Grammy Michele's Big Move

Noah, Mommy and Daddy took our first trip to Grammy Michele's in Asheville North Carolina. Noah as usual was a great traveler, sleeping most of the car trip. Grammy's house is atop a mountain with a beautiful view. Noah agreed well with the mountain air and took some marathon naps while we all unpacked, hung towel racks and changed the locks. We also spent some time exploring Asheville and eating in some yummy restaurants. As usual Noah flirted with every passerby smiling, waving and giggling.

Cousin Liam Comes to Visit

April has been a fun filled month. Aunt Joanie, Aunt Kate and Cousin Liam arrived just in time to celebrate mommies birthday. Noah took his New England family to the Georgia Aquarium. Noah also spent lots of time with cousin Liam playing & laughing. Noah loved hanging with his big cousin. When we asked Liam his favorite part of the Aquarium he said "pushing Noah in his stroller". So sweet!
